Job Description
-Design, Develop and implement Fruits purchasing and buying instructions, policies, and procedures.
-Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in commercial department to build a buying team
-Develop and manage a purchasing clerk network
-Locate, evaluate and grading suppliers of Fruits and Vegetables all over the country to ensure product availability and quality fit
-Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future Fruits and vegetables availability
-Negotiate contracts with farmers, Traders and Dealers to purchase Fruits and vegetables at a competitive price and quality
-Review orders to determine Fruits qualities and quantities required to meet demand.
-Prepare weekly and monthly dashboards, reports and price lists of different suppliers
-Compare prices, qualities, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers
-Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors
-Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary.
