Job Description

Digikala is in constant and fast evolution in order to serve millions customers at best. Commercial Development team aspires to enhance the organizational effectiveness and transform the business of Digikala through design, implementation, and improvement of the vision, strategies, systems, processes, and policies of the Commercial department. In this role, you are responsible for identifying growth opportunities and accelerating the expansion of the supply side of Digikala platform. You must play an active role in refining the business model of the company to scale up the business and define new revenue streams from the seller side. In addition, you need to play an active role in translating the growth initiatives into operational plans and cooperate with stakeholders within the Commercial department to execute the development programs. Main Responsibilities • Collaborate in formulation of commercial growth strategy and setting the strategic direction of the supply side of the platform • Innovate in the business model and develop business plans for expansion • Define KPIs and analyze data to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to business problems at a strategic level • Refine the operating model to facilitate scaling up and implement development plans • Work in cross-functional teams with various stakeholders to define, plan, and execute development initiatives • Monitor industry/market trends, benchmark eCommerce best practices, and perform competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities • Conduct market research to gather customer or seller insights and explore various expansion opportunities

Requirements

• 2-3 years of previous work experience as a strategic planning analyst, or business development specialist, or product manager • MBA or Master’s degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields • Familiarity with e-commerce, or IT industry and startups or online businesses • Experience in designing business models and developing business strategies • Experience in developing operational plans and execution of strategy • Experience in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions • Experience in planning, coordinating, and managing cross-functional projects to ensure the achievement of set objectives • Knowledge of market research methods and relevant practical experience is a plus • Competent in analysis, planning, and problem solving in uncertain and ambiguous situations • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders • Strong written and verbal communication skills
