Job Description

This individual will be responsible and accountable for the overall management of all civil aspects of project execution for solar power plants including but not limited to:

• Project construction planning and scheduling.
• Overall responsible for the construction of the entire civil work as per SOP.
• Manage construction of all types of civil foundations, buildings, piling, ramming, drainage, roads, and other works.
• Prepare BOQ for all civil-related drawings to analyze the volume of work and related costs.
• Prepare a detailed scope of work as per the drawings for civil construction work.
• Handle responsibilities of providing technical guidance to site staff.
• Review daily subcontractor construction reports and progress as per the scheduled timelines.
• Identify and solve problems to meet the project schedule and project budget.
• Ensure work conforms to the Scope of work defined in the contract, project plan, and specifications.
• Create and manage job schedules with the project manager to include baseline development, cost loading, schedule status, and schedule forecast.
• Supervise civil work and issue and closure of final punch points in accordance with commissioning and quality control plan.
• Plan manpower mobilization and demobilization activities for all the contractors.
• Set the daily targets for the subcontractors as per project timelines.
• Analyze the progress and prepare action plans in accordance with the project timelines.
• Prepare the resources and machinery plans required for the civil construction work.
• Prepare daily activities report.
• Develop the method statement for civil work and support the safety officer with risk assessment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or other related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience with a broad and deep understanding of renewable energy development and construction.
• Good understanding and knowledge of civil construction work.
• Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines and to be effective in on-site work environments.
• Effective project management skills.
