Job Description

● Prepare and maintain timely and accurate trial balances and financial statements. ● Perform financial analysis and reporting compatible with both BASF and local GAAP. ● Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries. ● Technical coordination with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within the deadline. ● Analysis of financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions. ● Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues, and determine budget variances and reporting. ● Access point in internal and external audit to provide necessary information and preparation of requested documents. ● Maintain master data and cost center allocations and control closing activities accordingly. ● Prepare, analyze, and verify cost center accounting for product costing. ● Submit VAT Return / Tax Return to the ministry of finance in consultation with a tax consultant. ● Preparation of all the documents/defense letters and other communication related to income tax, VAT, Social Security. ● Running FX difference for FX transactions, booking, and controlling FX gain and loss.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration. ● Minimum 5 years experience as chief accountant, tax expert, and relevant activities. ● Professional in ERP systems specifically Rahkaran. ● Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. ● English proficient working knowledge. ● High initiative, adaptability, attention to detail. ● Good organizational and time management skills. ● Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and great team player. ● Ideal age range: 25 to 45 years old.
