Job Description

● Set departmental strategic goals and develop interdepartmental policies and procedures: ● Perform laboratory management and chemical engineering studies to aid concerned management in making decisions regarding maximization of production capacity through optimization of chemical injection operations and diagnosing oil properties of production wells and flow assurance. Perform operational assignments: ● Perform all departmental initiatives, processes, and activities in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives and take corrective actions when necessary. ● Support chemical management section head in preparing departmental Work Program and Budget (WPB). ● Support chemical management section head in preparing long-term forecasts, annual development strategies, and production plans and programs. ● Ensure auditing and reporting requirements of the department are correctly observed and met. ● Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. ● Ensure a reliable production data acquisition system is in place and properly maintained. ● Ensure maximum production capacity through optimization of chemical injection operations. ● Analyze and diagnose oil properties of production wells and flow assurance. ● Maintain laboratory apparatus in good condition. ● Implement laboratory and field tests for oil field chemicals to optimize chemical injection operations. ● Cooperate with the operation team to produce spec oil, gas, and water. ● Communicate with subcontractor and chemical provider to program, monitor chemical operations, and inspect chemical storage conditions. ● Ensure full compliance of department activities with HSE regulations and policies and be well-trained about his/her role in the company emergency response plan. ● Act as department contract Holder in accordance with SIPC Iran contract management policy and procedure if applicable. ● Responsive to internal or external auditing practices. Control financial data: ● Review and approve subcontractor invoices if applicable. Adhere to human resources policies: ● Perform designated tasks in line with departmental established strategies and support other team members to carry out their tasks. ● Adhere to behavioral objectives set by the company. ● Resolve workplace conflicts and maintain a cooperative and peaceful environment in the workplace.
