The Cathodic protection Design Engineer is responsible for the implementing and provision of Cathodic protection engineering activities in Design, construction, commissioning, Start-up, and maintenance of Oil and gas refinery plants and relevant facilities. List of responsibilities: • Providing all documents related to cathodic protection (Station, Power required, soil resistivity ,…) including Drawings, data sheets, Material take off , Design Calculations, in according to National and International Codes and guides ( API, NIOC, ASME , …) • Review of documents commenting and endorsing relevant technical data • Analyze project specifications and inquiry requirements; develop design parameters and methodology. • Prepare engineering calculations, manage the interfaces and reply to the site queries • Maintain and develop chemical engineering design software. • Follow-up on completed projects including start-up and performance guarantee test. • Appropriate response to client requests and vendor/subcontracts • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends. • Maintain a high professional profile. . Reporting to: Engineering manager. Length of Probation Period: 3 months. Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday 8 am to 4:30 pm.
