Job Description

As a Production site Business Controller your key areas of responsibility are Controlling and Budgeting and Investments and you will be collaborating closely with your new team members, affiliate Finance as well as stakeholders across Local Manufacturing. It will be your responsibility to ensure that budgets are prepared and submitted for approval on time and that a common understanding of current budget status & key drivers are in place within local management. Your main tasks will include driving budget discussions with departments and preparing submissions, FTE planning, ensure input on salary/bonus calculation integrated into budget and month-end closing. As the Business Controller you are also responsible for Fixed Assets accounting: preparing the data for assets creation for Affiliate accounting, inventory count of fixed assets, consumables and spare parts, Budget rate calculation of property tax as per local legislation, Cash flow forecasting/funding proposal and follow up and scanning of invoices and upload to ICE, process invoices and closing documents flow. You will also take up the role as a Finance Master Data steward which includes the following tasks: -Creation of allocation cycles for budget purpose. Maintain monthly legal allocation cycles and both legal and group allocations -Follow up on cost centers and profit centers structures -WIP calculation and confirmation -GI/GR/Activity confirmation reconciliation. -Production orders check and review -RMD follow up and submissions (Production variance, Purchase price variance, Inventory adjustments and over/under absorption) The position is rich in opportunities and you have the possibility to gain expertise within a wide array of analytical methods and techniques, and for a personal and broader professional development as well.


-Higher education in Finance or Economics -At least 5 years’ experience within Finance & Business controlling / 3 years of experience working as a Business Controller at a production site / Experience from a multinational company is a benefit -Extensive experience of SAP -Advanced user of MS Office is required -Strong interpersonal skills -Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels -Professional Expertise & comprehensive understanding of best practice business controlling processes is a must to succeed in the role as the Business Controller -Ideal Age Range: 28 - 40 -Fluent in English; written and oral
