Job Description

The BAS Engineer will design and/or program a complete Building Automation System including integration to other low voltage control sub‐systems to meet the intent of the project requirements. This includes providing detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, subcontractors, and the field installation team. Responsibilities: ● Design and configure technically complex Building Automation Systems as defined by the contract documents. Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts, and electrical schematics as required. ● Design and develop panel layouts, network layouts, wiring diagrams per customer and/or company standards. ● Select material including DDC modules, field sensing and control devices, dampers, and valves to meet the project requirements, specifications, codes, and customer standards. ● Program DDC modules to meet the exact sequence of operation. ● Program and configure integration between multiple vendors using open and proprietary software. ● Configure system database for reporting, alarming, and monitoring of Building Automation Systems.
