Job Description

Strategic Brand Planning Process • Ensure implementation of the agreed portfolio Strategy for the BRANDS based on the Iran full potential analysis. • Drive sign-off of brand strategy with Area brand team and Iran Marketing Leadership team, review annually and ensure that strategic plans are fully aligned with all Marketing stakeholders. • Ensure Operational brand planning and objectives are defined in line with the Market strategy and all projects are developed contributing to delivery of share and volume objectives Operational Planning • Contribute to the EMFII and SOP proposing changes to the cycle plans, programme plans and budgets to generate economies of scale / achieve synergies and improve profitability. • Monitor and manage the implementation of the brand plans based on the Iran cycle plan and reconcile any significant changes in terms of timing, activities or BSE with Marketing Operations Manager. Research • Initiator of all led research projects in liaison with all relevant stakeholders. • Ensure all briefs related to the brand are analyzed properly and action standards are well identified. Global Brand Default Mix Development • Ensure that the requirements of BRANDS are fully shared with Area Brand team for the purpose of integration into the long term vision of the brand. • Ensure end market needs are consolidated and reported to the Area Brand Managers Operational Communications Toolbox • Active input to the Brand and TM&D toolbox, i.e. the development and maintenance of common communication tools that will enable speed to market and increased cost effectiveness. • Initiate all “creative” briefs with agencies based on the local needs • Active participation in year-end agency evaluation. Product and Packaging • Ensure all product development initiatives are clearly reflected through NEXUS, aligned with global brand standards. • Ensure consistency in blends and material as per the agreed upon mechanisms to reduce surplus cost of P&P complexity • Ensure product quality issues are monitored and resolved effectively and consistently. • Make sure to escalate product issue through right channel and to area PDT meeting

Requirements

• University Degree in Marketing/Business or related field • Motivating, coaching and developing Brand Executives • Effective communication and presentation • Negotiation and influencing • Project management • Solid managerial experience – a driving role with a clear focus on making it happen through Brand Executives
