Job Description
To drive the Zar Group business and to create sustainable competitive advantage and economic value for Zar Group through excellent consumer marketing
Main Responsibilities:
- Leads, guides and supports the Category Managers in all operational areas and drives execution excellence
- Develop deep understanding of consumers, market, competitors, achieve strong insights and deliver actionable analyses
- Definition of products and product quality
- Drive incremental innovation in the category and participate in wider innovation initiatives and projects
Product launches
- Definition of assortment
- Price strategy
- Packaging: structural packaging and design, packaging ownables
- Consumer engagement (Advertising, On-line, Social media and BTL) and media plans and executions
Consumer promotions
- Manage daily operational relationships with key partners (market research, communication and design agencies etc.)
- Manage relations with key internal partners (Sales, Trade Marketing, R&D etc.)
- Marketing reporting for the categories
- Propose, negotiate and get approval for category annual plan
- Definition of category’s marketing budgets
- Analyze category P&L and take action to achieve profit objectives
- Attracts and retains talent
- Develops high performing Category Managers
- Leads team to high performance
- Manages stakeholders laterally and upwards to get business results
