Job Description

• Act as BackOffice OSS Engineer and responsible for 24*7 support of OSS platforms • Available to be involved in On-call/On-site incident handling activities • Troubleshooting and maintenance of Linux-based systems • Troubleshooting and maintenance of Microsoft servers • Troubleshooting, hardening and maintenance of RDBMS databases (MySQL & MariaDB) • Troubleshooting and maintenance of Auto Configuration Server (ACS) • Responsible for system configurations and preparation of operating procedures and maintenance manuals • Develop in-house tools required for OSS domain • Executing regular system health check and preventive maintenance • Outage handling and communication management with relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• BSc or higher degree in IT, Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications or other related fields • Experience in ICT operations and maintenance support • Good understanding of mobile, FWA and ISP network architecture (GSM, UMTS, LTE, IP, Internet) • Hands-on experience in PHP or Python programming • Knowledge of Linux scripting (bash script) • Experience in working with MySQL & MariaDB databases • Expert in writing SQL queries • Familiar with ITIL • Technical knowledge of Monitoring systems like Nagios and Solarwinds is a plus • Technical knowledge of Atlassian Jira is a plus • Familiar with Web Services • Team working
