- Demonstrates B2B sales expertise. - Ability to negotiate with vendors and manufacturers. - Ability to build or currently have a base of key contacts and relationships. - Generate new customers through prospecting. - Quick learner. - Ability to set and achieve realistic goals regarding quota and gross profit. - Ability to be successful within a matrix sales organization. - Ability to travel local and overnight. - Strong online connectivity via Social Media. - Foster appositive working environment with fellow employees and customers. - Participate, when appropriate, on task teams to represent the sales perspective and promote company development. - Participate actively in company-sponsored training sessions, regularly scheduled - sales meetings and division functions. - Review new product developments and sales techniques on an ongoing basis - Develop a complete and comprehensive technical knowledge of all products appropriate to your market or territory. - Properly communicate announced product and price changes, availability conditions and other pertinent announcements to your customers. Deliver samples as necessary. - Maintain all system information in a timely, accurate and complete manner. This should include but not be limited to customer master, express order forms; customer unsold stock agreements, computer price rules for all customers, etc. Maintain all customer files accurately, including key personnel, sales history and potential sales data. Execute all paperwork in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner. Achieve certification where required. Acquire system knowledge and competence, both operational and informational, to perform all functions at a professional level. Be accessible during normal business hours through the use of an electronic pager or cellular telephone. May be requested to perform other duties not listed above.

Requirements

- Higher level education. - Prior experience in B2B sales desired. - Fluency in English. - Interest in the financial markets. - 3-5 years outside sales experience. - College degree preferred or relevant equivalent sales experience required - Progressive track record through career and demonstrated product sophistication through different sales cycles. - Consistently meets or exceeds quota or gross profit expectations. - Has been awarded recognition for success. - Experience with metrics driven environments. - Ability to demonstrate and adhere to sales methodology. - Demonstrated presentation skills to decision makers of all levels. - Worked in company of similar size or demonstrated ability to do so. - Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment. - Ability to learn new product and services as offered by the business. - Understanding of territory and surrounding areas. - Ability to express current offerings or previous product knowledge. - Proficient with Microsoft suite and lead generation tools and understanding of CRM System; preferably Salesforce.com
