As an Assembly & Packaging Team Lead you are responsible for management, leading and managing packaging & assembly shift teams, respect of production plan (knowing which batch is for which line, knowing when to start or stop the new batch), and manage break downs, stoppages during the shift. You are also responsible for managing training of your team and their development, performance management of team is also the other responsibility you will have. On the other hand you are responsible on perform process confirmation of processes, respect of all performance indicators in for shift such as quality, EHS (Environment Health and Safety) and absenteeism. You need to Manage when necessary and interfaces to other areas of the site like warehouse, quality, maintenance and managing technical stoppage time of the operations team. Helping and supporting on finding root cause in consumer complaint cases, make sure that line is always clean and GMP, 5S respected in assembly & packaging area are also your responsibilities.
