Job Description

•Main Objective: AI/ML Annotation Operations is seeking a highly motivated professional to manage complex annotation projects to ensure that volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved. You will study data requirements for machine learning engineering teams (the main stakeholder), drive the creation of required workflows, and monitor the operation life-cycle to ensure that project goals and milestones are met. You will be in charge of the 360-degree view of the project by observing operations, performing deep process analysis and feeding recommendations back to the platform engineering team for improvements to processes, tools and data quality. •Main Responsibilities: -Responsibilities may include interviewing, selection and hiring, training new and existing staff, planning, assigning and directing work, authoring and discussing employee performance appraisal, suggesting corrective action plans for employee development, motivation and rewards and last but not least, organizing projects’ budget in collaboration with the director. -Hire, select, train, assign, coach, counsel and discipline employees -Communicate job expectations, plan, and monitor, appraise and review job contributions -Plan and review compensation actions, enforcing policies and procedures -Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, and analyze variances, initiating corrective actions -Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout, implement changes -Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures in compliance with the legal regulations -Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues -Run a safe, injury/accident-free workplace


-Experience leading multiple complex operational projects -Excellent conceptual, written and verbal communications skills -Ability to establish relationships across channels and functions to drive success -Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and adapt to changing priorities -Ability to maintain a positive attitude under high stress and multitasking in an extremely dynamic environment -Excellent analytical skills -Willingness to work at a very detailed level while still being able to abstract ideas for communication to cross-functional teams and senior management -Enthusiastic and self-motivated -Occasional overseas travel will be required
