Job Description

Book Publishing art directors develop visual concepts for publications. They oversee the creation of layouts that accompany book stories, supervise design efforts, and determine the overall look and feel of the finished product prior to publication. Working as a Book Publishing art director is a high-pressure, fast-paced career. The majority of art directors work on a full-time basis in an office setting, although as deadlines approach, overtime hours are likely.

Requirements

- Familiarity with book and publishing (book structure, book genres, page layout, production offer, visual identification of publications) - Familiarity with the history of photography, news photography genres, documentaries, advertising, personality, the use of photography in publishing and books. - Image and Imagination, Concept and Creativity (Study and content analysis, Content comprehension, Conceptualization with content orientation, ideation and creativity by choosing the appropriate tools to execute. - Familiarity with the structure of Typography and Typeface (Familiarity with the character of Persian and Latin fonts, familiarity with Persian typeface design) - Familiarity with the basic concepts of publishing as a brand - Familiarity with publishing rights and laws - Familiarity with talk to chief editor - Human resource management and Team communication - Negotiation skills and presentation method - Image and Imagination, Concept and Creativity (Study and content analysis, Content comprehension, Conceptualization with content orientation, ideation and creativity by choosing the appropriate tools to execute. - Print management - Coordination - Creativity - Vision - Project management - Graphic design skills - Developing creative standards - Proficiency with Layout, Illustration, photography, Typography and Typeface - Deep in Publishing area and being solution providing.
