Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Senior Oracle Applications Developer with experience in Oracle Financials and APEX to be the focal point of a number of ongoing new projects that helping us change an industry! The role requires the ability to design and implement cleanly designed, user friendly and modern looking user interfaces. The successful candidate will work closely with the Software Engineering team as part of Agile software development projects, with responsibility for designing and developing modern, elegant and user-friendly web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript libraries. The role requires a detail-oriented and highly motivated self-starter, who is able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team members. • An aspiring programmer who enjoys problem solving • Implement product timely from design stage, coding, testing and delivery • Connect with the rest of the team • Communicate with customers to identify product requirements • Responsible for designing and developing new scalable solutions or major enhancements and fixes to existing products. • Responsible for the integration of third-party APEX Plugins and JavaScript libraries. • Suggesting application design enhancements and new product features. • Maintain current applications which includes, but is not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; Identify and implements solutions. • Develop to coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines • Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security and performance • Proficient in SQL language and environment (Oracle (PL / SQL) and Performance SQL Tuning concepts • Evaluate new technology options, recommending the adoption of new technologies into the solution.

Requirements

• Linux, Oracle, GIT. • Ability to write complex deserts with lots of data • Writing skills in-memory University Qualifications: BSc or MSc in Computer Science or other equivalent technical discipline. Nature and length of previous experience: • Oracle Apex experience with Version 5.0 or above. - Required 2 Years • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL - Required 5 Years • Strong working experience with Oracle 12c database. - Required 5 Years • Java Script experience including jQuery - Required 3 Years • Experience with FOP report using Oracle Apex - Desired 2 Years • Experience with web development using HTML5, stylesheet, XSLT and JavaScript - Desired 2 Year. Specialist knowledge: • Ability to deliver modern elegant web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript. • Oracle SQL / Oracle PL/SQL programming experience. • Experience in managing web page layouts with APEX templates and themes. • Knowledge of web application usability trends. • HTML5 / CSS knowledge. • Experience collaborating effectively with team members and partners in a distributed project environment. • High experience working with the UNIX / Linux environment, Scripting and other related tools • Ability to design / program / test applications using middle ware • Experience in object-oriented software design and documentation • In-depth understanding of micro services architecture • Test-driven implementation experience using unit testing frameworks and automated testing tools • Experience in agile / iterative environment and scrum method • Familiar with Big Data and Message Broker related tools like Active MQ, Kafka, Elastic Search and NoSQL. • APEX Plug-in development. • Web application security / Data security • Experience integrating REST APIs into APEX applications.
