Job Description
The main responsibilities of the selected candidate will consist of antenna product design and development. The candidate is expected to conduct analysis and design using advanced materials and design concepts. Roles: ● Provide timely daily status reports of progress and issues to the line manager. ● Design, Implementation, and measurement of different types of antenna, especially wireless communication antennas. ● Provide antenna design information by answering questions and requests. ● Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators. ● Streamline manufacturing processes, procedures, and methodologies to improve product outcomes.
Requirements
● Professional in working with related software, e.g. CST and HFSS. ● Experience working as an antenna engineer in a medium organization. ● Familiar with antenna measurement methods. ● Ability to handle and accomplish various free-space measurements (field testing). ● Able to propose antenna and prepare the associated design review report according to the system requirements. ● At least a Master's degree in Electrical-Communications Engineering. ● At least 5 years of relevant experience in the design and fabrication of different antennas. ● Ability to handle and work with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other benchtop analysis tools. ● Excellent communication and teamwork will be an integral part of project assignments. ● Strong background in electromagnetics and antenna theory applied to wireless communication systems. ● Working knowledge of advanced numerical modeling techniques and commercially available computational electromagnetic software packages (CST Microwave Studio).
