The team:
We are the Accounts team. We manage a wide range of bank accounts and e-currency systems. We reconcile all transactions and supplier balances, manage monthly management accounts closing, and generate annual audited accounts.
The role:
As an accountant at First Source, you will handle account data, manage full sets of accounts and invoices, and generate financial reports. Your strong grasp of accounting best practices will help us improve accounting processes and comply with accounting and financial standards. Working closely with your team members, you will meet tight deadlines by managing your time well.
Responsibilities:
● Enter accounts data into the accounting software for financial transactions documentation and support management accounting every month-end.
● Verify invoices and other documents to ensure a smooth payment process.
● Facilitate a smooth payment process by handling salary calculations and verifying documents such as invoices.
● Implement improvements in attaining accuracy and efficiency in every task such as assessing internal control, cost control, and saving measures.
● Reconcile all third-party payment services and bank transactions.
● Help the team comply with statutory tax requirements and assist in the submission of monthly VAT reports on behalf of the organization.
