Job Description

The Sales Accountant is responsible to secure revenue recording and updating customer accounts by verifying and posting invoices, receipts and adjusting memos; resolving discrepancies and doing reconciliation. Main Responsibilities: -Updating customer Accounts: •Posts customer payments by recording cash checks transactions •Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions •Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices •Maintains records by updating invoices, debits, and credits •Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts; verifying totals; preparing reports •Reports updated reconciliation to the supervisor -Customer Account Follow ups: •Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, sales departments, and customers •Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries •Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures •Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history credit line, coordinating contact with collections department -Financial Reporting: •Produces a range of reports to develop customer paying profiles in order to set terms and conditions based on customer credibility, overseas credibility, oversee the production of regular and ad hoc financial, and activity reports to meet statutory and management requirements •Prepares necessary daily, weekly and monthly reports

Requirements

• At least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Economics. • 2 - 5 years of experience in Accounting/2 years in sales accounting • Advanced MS Excel • Familiarity with Financial Software and ERPs • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude, and discrepancy resolving ability • Attention to Details
