NRC will only consider applications that come through Webcruiter.******* Duties and responsibilities The purpose of the officer position is day to day implementation of the CC Project. Use actions words such as ensure, implement or assist for the position relevant responsibilities. Generic responsibilities: 1-Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines 2-Implement delegated CC project portfolio according to plan of action 3-Prepare and develop status reports as required by management. 4-Ensure proper filing of documents. 5-Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist 6-Promote and share ideas for technical improvement. 7-Promote the rights of refugees and displaced in line with the advocacy strategy. 8-Identify and report protection needs and gaps, explore and propose new and safer ways to assist. Specific responsibilities: 1-Work alongside with LFS Coordinator in all phases of LFS Project Cycle Management 2-Conduct activities associated with implementation of Livelihoods and Food Security projects including provision of cash assistance, initiation of income generation activities for the target group. 3-Maintain regular communication and coordination with NRC implementing partners , community members, beneficiaries, relevant actors and stakeholders relevant to implementation of activities, in regards with regular monitoring and observation of the project objectives being met 4-Contribute in the identification of needs and gaps and propose potential interventions 5-Contribute in proper documentation and preparation of relevant documents including internal and external reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s, agreement, etc.


Generic professional competencies: 1-Experience in projects implementation in humanitarian/ recovery sector. 2-Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts. 3-Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities. 4-Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Persian. 5-Good knowledge of refugee context in Iran and Afghanistan. Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience: 1-University bachelor’s degree in Social sciences preferably related to economy, development, Sociological studies, or in Business studies preferably related to Entrepreneurship, marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Management/ engineering, or equivalent professional experience 2-Professional experience of working with Afghan refugees, preferably in Livelihoods; responsibilities related to business planning/management, MSME management, business model design, start-up development, digital literacy, digital start up and vocational training 3-Excellent knowledge on Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) 4-Ability to produce high quality professional documents including donor proposals and reports in English and Persian 5-Ability to provide high quality technical inputs and analysis 6-Working knowledge of PCM and previous experience with European donors is an asset 7-Good working computer skills including office, data management/ basic knowledge of Programming is an asset 8-Experience in projects related to empowerment of community and self-reliance of vulnerable families is an advantage Personal qualities Behavioural competencies : 1-Planning and delivering results 2-Empowering and working with other people 3-Communicating with impact and respect 4-Handling insecure environment
