Job Description

The treasury expert is responsible for managing the financial operations of a local government or municipality. This includes overseeing budget planning and execution, cash management, debt management, investment management, and financial reporting. The treasury expert also ensures compliance with financial regulations and policies.

  • Receiving and controlling PR for needed approvals.
  • Preparing payment files received from commercials.
  • Controlling the correctness of beneficiary payment data.
  • Replacing Iban data with the correct one if needed.
  • Finalizing payment list and sharing changes with PICs.
  • Preparing bank payment files and payment documents (invoices and etc.).
  • Importing the payments into the KW ledger.
  • Reporting returns from payment to PICs and booking in KW.
  • Sending finalized paid list to the commercial team.
  • Doing all other MP-related payments (pre-payments, merchants, leftovers, DPO, etc.) following the mentioned structure of payment.
  • Sending payment receipts to sellers upon their request.
  • PSP contact point.
  • Negotiation and paperwork for getting devices upon request.
  • Following up on the device contract with the legal team.
  • Renewing contracts every year or two.
  • Contact customer service for device requirements.
  • Preparing monthly POS performance report for each PSP.
  • Following up POS contract with the legal team.
  • Contact customer service for device issues.
  • Following up on discrepancy cases with the accounting team.
  • Following up on new device requests upon logistics request.
  • Following up on new device requests by ventures.
  • Conducting new POS projects like android POS, payment plan replacement, and device transfer to express.
  • Participation in treasury reporting.
  • Including daily liquidity, weekly allocation, weekly budget, day by day inflow estimation.
  • Supervisor backup.
  • Conducting supervisor tasks in his absence like cash flow management, and payment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) may be required or preferred.
  • Several years of experience in finance, accounting, or treasury roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as the role may involve interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and technology tools, such as financial management systems and Excel.
