● Research and evaluate suppliers and negotiate with them.
● Review history of sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
● Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with sales and marketing to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
● Provide input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies for existing products and new products.
● Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
● Determine and prioritize the order and import of goods, determine the amount and method of purchasing products
● Communicate with suppliers to put orders and arrange the shipments.
● Close follow-up of needed activities for banking transfers.
● Supervise the preparation of documents and follow up on the customs clearance of products.
● Prepare regular reports for management.
● Resolve conflicts and disputes in case of damage to the consignment in all stages including transportation and clearance to delivery in the company
● Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases.
● Use the right method to gather information from the market, competitors, and capacities.
Requirements
● At least a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
● Proficient in the principles and techniques of negotiation, international correspondence, import/export processes, and contracts.
● Enough knowledge of international supply chain processes including sourcing, banking, customs, etc.
● At least 8 years of experience in relevant fields.
● Experience in international business negotiation.
● Problem-solving skills.
● Excellent fluency in English in all skills.
● Good teamwork abilities.
● Able to work overtime.
● Able to work in challenging situations.
