Job Description

● Tax and SSO charges related to payroll (both employee and employer parts). ● SSO related to the contracts: withholding, timely notification of the SSO authorities about the new contracts signed with the contractors, FCC collection from the contractors. ● Withhold tax from the landlords – calculation, timely payment to the Tax authorities. ● Book the taxes in 1C and in the local accounting system. ● Report to tax and SSO authorities: seasonal report, VAT report, CIT. ● Control over payroll-related taxes ad charges – timely and correct reporting, due dates for payments. ● Interact with tax and SSO authorities due to any issues resulting from the company’s activities, dispute resolution, and preparation of the defense position of the company. ● Obtain the final clearance certificates for the company. ● Review contract terms for the absence of tax risks. ● Review invoices from contractors for correctness from the tax perspective. ● Provide an expert review of the company’s activities from the tax perspective and recommendations about risk reduction. ● Interact with the headquarters and statutory auditors. ● Lead the tax audit contacted by local tax authorities. ● Contribute to audits of financial statements from a tax perspective.

Requirements

● Work experience in the Oil and Gas industry with buy-back contracts is preferable. ● Higher professional education (Bachelor's or Master's degree), relevant professional certification, or a postgraduate program is preferable. ● At least 5 years of relevant experience in tax and accounting. ● Experience in payroll taxes calculation and reporting is preferable. ● Experience in the calculation of taxes, SSO charges, and the respective reporting is a must. ● Experience in tax and SSO dispute resolution. ● Experience in obtaining FCC certificates for the employer. ● Excellent software and MS Excel skills. ● Experience in 1C as an advantage. ● Fluent in verbal and written English (upper-intermediate level or higher). ● Excellent strategic planning skills and ability to interact with all levels. ● Able to multitask and be open to adapting to changing business requirements. ● Good analytical skills. ● Effective communication skills. ● Ability to work with large amounts of information and in conditions of limited time.
