Job Description

Managing resources, contractors, cost, time and quality in construction phase of project. List of responsibilities: - Determine and define project scope and objectives - Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources/contractors in an effective and efficient manner - Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements - Track project costs in order to meet budget - Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan (planning control of the project) - Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress - Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverable - Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution - Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed - Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement - Perform risk management to minimize project risks - Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility - Reporting through agreed lines on project progress through highlight reports and end-stage assessments - Preparing any follow-on action recommendations

Requirements

- Bachelor/ Master’s Degree in one of the following fields: Mechanical, Civil and Industrial Engineering - At Least 15 Years of Site Management Experience, mostly in EPC based corporations, (with focus in oil & gas and petrochemical industry) - Proven work experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager - Knowledge of construction principles, procedures and site safety, understand construction - Sequences and determine completeness of project documents, review details and designs for construct-ability. - Plan and manage human and financial resources to meet project milestones with appropriate quality. - Ability to read drawings and specifications, with an understanding of architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, as well as ability to identify/anticipate missing information. - Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and balance priorities consistent with Company strategies and goals. - Good Knowledge of Legal and contracts affairs of the project, contractor payment application documentation and process. - Good knowledge of project managing standards (PMBOK in particular) and also local - Familiar with Construction standards and regulations. - Familiar with the process of inspection, transportation and storage of goods and equipment. Familiar with installation, testing and commissioning of equipment. - Proficiency in general computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,) and Familiar with MSP and AutoCAD. Soft Skills and Personality traits: - Leadership and Charismatic personality - Appropriate communication and public relations skills - Ability to participate in construction site activities and project's missions outside the city - Ability to manage high workload, stressful working conditions and critical situations - Ability to lead a team work - Strong problem solving skills, analytical and strategic mind - Strong working knowledge of Negotiation and analytical skills
