Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures . Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need of protection, explore and asses new and better ways to assist . Promote the rights of refugees and displaced in line with the advocacy strategy . Contribute with CC specific technical competence to the development of CC strategy, Micro LogFrame, and Plan of Action . Contribute with CC specific technical competence to programme development, adjustment or review . Conduct CC specific technical assessment and present recommendations . Conduct CC specific technical research and document findings and recommendations . Develop CC specific technical indicators and mechanism for M&E . Develop CC specific technical guidance, tools and mechanism . Contribute to organizational learning through the provision specific technical analysis, lessons learned and reports Specific responsibilities : • Develop training modules and provide specific technical training for project staff, with a focus on DRR, energy and environmental aspects of NRCs work • Provide training on DRR, energy and environmental aspects to partners and relevant stakeholders • Support the development of a Shelter and WASH Manual for Schools, with a focus on DRR, energy and environmental aspects • Support teams in Area Offices to incorporate DRR, energy and environmental aspects into their work • Organize regular field visits, with a focus on DRR, energy and environmental aspects of NRCs work • Support CC Specialist to integrate DRR, energy and environment into Shelter and WASH programming • Support CC Specialist on DRR, energy and environment aspects of project proposals • Lead on building capacity to use NEAT+ in NRC’s wor

Requirements

Generic professional competencies for this position: • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within field of expertise • Technical specific knowledge from the humanitarian sector • Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts • Documented technical competences related to the position’s responsibilities • Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities • Fluency in English, both written and verbal • Fluency in Farsi, both written and verbal Context related skills, knowledge and experience: • Knowledge of the Afghan displacement context in Iran • Knowledge of DRR, energy and environment • Experience in mainstreaming DRR into humanitarian Shelter and WASH programming • TOT/ facilitation skills/ training experience (preferable) Behavioral competencies: These are personal qualities that influence how successful people are in their job.
