About the team: Our main mission is to make the infrastructure more reliable, stable, flexible, and available. We are responsible for developing and supporting a large-scale Infrastructure in different data centers and also our Amazon AWS platform. We handle infrastructure from the network layer, physical servers, and operating systems to high-level applications. We are also responsible for operations on a big multi-tenant on-prem Kubernetes cluster and also on Amazon AWS EKS and ROSA. About the role: You’ll be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure and developing it. You’ll have the opportunity to design systems and solutions that best support the needs of your team. Responsibilities: ● Automating operations using Ansible, Terraform, and other tools. ● Contribute to our documentation and runbooks. ● OS tuning for high load. ● T-shoot the network, OS, Kubernetes Cluster, and SysOps services on AWS. ● Network configuration (VLAN, Bonds, Routings, etc.). ● Research new technologies and develop the infrastructure. ● Capacity planning and infra setup. ● Participate in on-call rotations. ● Ceph storage maintenance.
Requirements
Mandatory qualifications: ● Linux administration skills. ● Bash Scripting skills. ● Networking and TCP/IP knowledge. ● Experienced in automation with Ansible. ● QEmu/KVM skills. Preferred qualifications: ● CEPH. ● Terraform. ● Experienced with Kubernetes and its core concepts. ● Experience in Python. ● More than three years of operational experience in information technology. ● Good written and verbal communication skills in English. ● Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills. ● Ability to be a team player. ● Ability to work effectively in multiple cultures and at a range of levels. ● Ability to constantly build up skillset using a mix of self-motivation and course-based learning environment. ● Ability to work independently, and proactively to see the big picture, and work through solutions as needed.
