● Review the client’s technical documentation, specification, and requirements.
● Preparation of piping design specifications and procedures.
● Review all designs and completion drawings for errors and omissions as well as ensure that company standards and customer requirements are meant.
● Supervising piping designers to develop designs for projects.
● Preparation of proposals and deliverables to ensure standards are meant.
● Assign personnel to specific aspects of a given project including technical studies, project design, preparation of technical plans, and product testing.
● Interface with all disciplines to develop clash-free designs.
● Ensure discipline designers have sufficient input information for the drawing or model being undertaken.
● Coordinate with other disciplines' lead designers to ensure timely receipt of necessary design inputs.
● Identify changes to scope and promptly raise change notification.
● Attend project kickoff and review meetings, vendor/supplier meetings, engineering, and design meetings.
Requirements
● Familiar with international codes, standards, and materials.
● 10 years minimum piping design experience in the field of Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical plant.
● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
● Fluent in spoken and written English.
● Experience with Caesar II, PDMS, and AutoCAD software.
● Ability to work on several projects concurrently.
