Job Description
● Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, devices, and appliances to support the IT infrastructure. ● Realize network security infrastructure configurations including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NDR, NAC, etc. to comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. ● Define network security configuration templates and baselines (routers, switches, firewalls). ● Troubleshoot network to identify and fix performance issues. ● Design, develop, configure, and implement solutions to resolve medium to complex technical and business issues related to IT networking and security devices. ● Firewall rules management (creation/modification/deletion) by following the MobinNet change management process. ● Identify issues, provide support for isolating problems, and find RCA. ● Work on weekends for migration activities off business hours. ● Integrate and schematically depict communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, signaling links, and protocols into complete network configurations.
Requirements
● 3 to 5 years of extensive of networking and security experience with Checkpoint Firewalls, Juniper Networks Firewalls, FortiGate Firewalls, WAF, and IPS/IDS. ● Strong troubleshooting skills over the Firewalls, Proxy, and network infrastructure. ● Extensive data networking knowledge and an understanding of network security standards such as Firewall Rules, Security Zones, Multicast Data Feeds, Ultra Low Latency Network Architectures, and Platforms. ● Certified security engineer (typically CCSE or comparable). ● Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNP or comparable). ● Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. ● Full understanding of firewalls and different deployment architecture. ● Good understanding of ITIL and service management principles. ● Knowledge of Cloud networking (ex.: SDN, service mesh, Cloud platform networking). ● Basic knowledge of Kubernetes networking is a plus. ● Familiar with software-defined networks such as Cisco ACI.
