Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, hardworking, and experienced engineer to join our growing team as a senior measurement instrumentation engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, directing, developing, overseeing, and management of projects and making any necessary adjustments in order to ensure successful completion. In terms of reporting and responsibilities, the figure will respond to the CEO. Responsibilities: ● Ensure planned engineering progress with respect to the engineering deliverables for tenders and awarded projects, planning, scheduling, preparation of progress reports, resource forecasts, time schedules, and utilization of resources effectively and efficiently. ● Manage schedules and work to tight deadlines. ● Review of client documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications, and calculations for all the required process aspects. ● Detail engineering including design calculations, optimization, sizing, and selection of flow instruments devices such as Ultrasonic, Magnetic, Thermal mass, Pitot Tube, Variable Area, Vortex Flow Meters, Flow element, and related accessories such as RO, FE, Nozzle, Venturi, Meter Runs, Pitot Tube, Temperature Transmitter, Thermowell, Temperature element, Differential and Pressure Transmitter, all types of Level Gauges, Pressure gauge, Temperature gauge, all type of Level Transmitter such as Guided Wave Radar (GWR), Displacer, Ultrasonic, Magnetic, Float, Capacitive for Tenders (as required) and for awarded projects. ● Prepare technical and commercial proposals with considering the Minimum Requirement and report deviations, and suggest competitive alternatives. ● Interface with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and clients. ● Review and approve vendor documents related to valves. ● Evaluate vendor offers and ensures technical close-out prior to the placement of purchase orders. ● Liaise with the client to obtain necessary specifications related to valve inquiries. ● Review and record the minimum requirements and implement the same in the project deliverables. ● Participate in engineering meetings, KOM and PIM and generate the document based on VPIS. ● Prepare all documents and drawings approved by the client (AFC or AN) and provide the Final Data Book (FDB). ● Participate in F.A.T. and SAT activities at vendor workshops. Note: This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above. ● Salary: Based on qualifications and experiences.

Requirements

● Understanding the customer RFQ, and good knowledge of well-known brands (Rosemount, E+H, and WIKA). ● Excellent in instruments order code selection of Gauges, Level Gauges, and Transmitters (Level, Pressure, Temperature, Flow). ● Excellent knowledge of cable routing, hook-up, logic, and loop diagrams. ● Good Knowledge of international codes and standards IEC, BS, ASME, API, ISO, ISA, NACE, etc. ● Experience in MS Office (mainly Excel) and CAD. ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university. ● 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil/Gas industry. ● Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. ● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. ● Ability to interact and build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. ● Ability to prioritize jobs as per the timelines. ● Strong commitment to achieving results. ● Excellent problem solver and ability to understand the impacts of actions. ● Good communication skills, with the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team Strong analytical skills, with emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy. ● Knowledge of business processes and systems. ● Teamwork spirit, good communication skills, and ability to work under pressure. ● Highly motivated spirit to learn and determined to solve problems with a positive “CAN Do" attitude. ● Strong self-development, self-education, and self-motivation abilities. ● Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
