Job Description

● Assisting the manager in consolidating 20+ legal entities and complying with the recognition, measurement, and disclosure requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). ● Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. ● Participating in month-end closing reviews of businesses to ensure all balances have been accurately reconciled and appropriately classified under IFRS. ● Participating in analyzing and reviewing Investor’s presentations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of ventures. ● Developing and maintaining data gathering and reporting templates to ease aggregation and consolidation of financial and non-financial reports. ● Intercompany reconciliations. ● Assisting the manager to coordinate with group and component auditors to ensure a clean and timely interim and year-end audit. ● Assisting the manager in maintaining accounting and financial reporting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures. ● Participating in the process of writing, implementing, and ensuring effective and practical implementation of financial reporting policies and procedures. ● Automating and suggesting improvements to processes for accuracy and time-saving. ● Following up on improvement initiatives and ensuring delivery. ● Doing any other financial reporting-related ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Industrial Engineering. ● One to three (6 to 8) years of post-qualification and relevant experience in top-tier organizations. ● Excellent knowledge of IFRS is required combined with the ability to research and propose organization positions on complex accounting issues. ● Knowledge of business analysis and Product analysis. ● Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills. ● Proficient in financial software is preferred (Oracle, SAP, etc.). ● Excellent English communication; both oral and written. ● Good communication skills. ● Knowledge of other areas of business e.g., marketing and operations, etc. ● Ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks. ● Excellent project management skills. ● Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects required. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ● Ability to cope with stress and uncertainty. ● International professional qualifications such as ACCA/ACA/CPA/ACMA will be preferred. ● Experience in top-tier auditing firms is a plus.
