Job Description
Position Overview:
Build long-term strategy to identify new markets, products, or services. Lead all marketing initiatives within the dairy market related to market research, strategy development, product management and marketing communications.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
• Gather, develop and organize market and industry data from external sources and databases to stay ahead of trends
• Benchmark current state: customers, competitors, channels, products, needs analysis
• Analyze data and formulate conclusions on attractive growth areas
• Compile organized libraries and databases of research that are current, accurate and accessible and share with cross functional team
• Develop market plans (including, but not limited to): financial analysis, competitive analysis, customer value proposition and customer segmentation
• Participation strategy: development plan, needs from stakeholders, potential supply footprint needs, stock tooling gaps, promotions, etc.
• Manage product portfolio to ensure company’s offering is well positioned in the market
• Be the “expert” in the market by engaging/participating/leading industry forums, conferences and trade shows leading to growth opportunities
