Job Description
● Preparing documents for Oil and Gas projects such as Mechanical Datasheets, Equipment Cross-Sectional Drawings, Utility Consumption Lists, Lubricant Lists, Special Tools Lists, Bills of Materials, etc. ● Preparing NPSH and Power calculations and report sheets. ● Performing required calculations for flawless function of Metering Pumps. ● Selecting the proper pump model/type for each application/process. ● Preparing technical proposals as per clients’ material requisitions. ● Material selection for both wetted and non-wetted parts taking into account corrosion/erosion compatibility issues. ● Pulsation analysis of fluctuating process fluid and sizing/selection of proper Pulsation Dampener. ● Conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to analyze stress caused by pump pressure using relevant software (e.g. ANSYS). ● Conducting Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for simulation and analysis of flowing liquid in pumping scenarios by means of relevant software (e.g. FLUENT) is a plus. ● Reporting to the Engineering Manager. ● Number required: 1. ● Duration: 1-year contract. ● Desired start date: As soon as possible. ● Probation: 3 months. ● Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday from 8 am to 5:30 pm. ● Working Office: Payam Special Economic Complex, Mehrshahr, Karaj, Iran. ● Travel requirements: Yes; Hamedan, Assaluyeh (Occasionally).
Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable state universities. ● At least 3 years of related experience. ● Familiar with the following software and skills: - AutoCAD Mechanical - Solidworks - ANSYS / FLUENT - GD and T ● Preferably familiar with API standards (API 675/674). ● Preferably familiar with Pumps and Metering Pumps (Reciprocating Pumps) in particular. ● Good communication and interpersonal skills. ● Self-driven and detail-oriented. ● Sufficient knowledge of MS Office. ● Excellent ability in web searching. ● Good report-writing skills. ● Excellent teamwork skills. ● Nationality preference: Iranian. ● Language skills: English. ● Current residence: Karaj.
