Job Description

The Public Affairs and Patient Access (PAPA) Director position is a highly visible role with responsibility for overseeing, developing, and implementing affiliate-wide market and patient access strategies. The position holder will be responsible for managing the right structure, capacity, and tools for pricing and market, patient access for leading, and developing the right organizational capabilities in the affiliate. Plays a key role in formulating affiliate pricing strategies with responsibility for managing the pricing corridor for the Novo Nordisk portfolio in close liaison with BA and IO. Develops evidence and relevant M/PA arguments to provide recommendations to senior management for optimizing market access and shaping the local healthcare environment. ● Create a long-term Market and Patient Access strategic plan for the function that aligns functional objectives with Global, Regional, and BA strategies. ● Manage the Pricing and Market, Patient Access teams to ensure a working environment conducive to high performance and team is properly developed. ● Lead collaboration efforts to align and manage affiliate market, patient access priorities, and strategies with critical business functions (e.g. marketing, CMR, etc.). ● Engage with IFDA, IHCC, international deputy of MoH, MoW, and parliament, investing organization and managing all product policy, allocations, and cross collaborations with LMT and logistic for managing product supply and patient access. ● Initiate pharmaco-economics studies for product registration, pricing, and reimbursement. ● Drive PBCs and have access to the 360 Pricing software to reflect in the system, negotiate with IFDA, and secure NN prices. ● Stakeholder mapping, identifying, segmenting, and utilizing medical and health economics information to initiate tailored key messages. ● SH mapping and identifying key influence positions in insurance companies and all FDA deputies in key cities, securing reimbursement of NN products, engaging with FDA deputies to secure product availability and patient access.

Requirements

● Master’s degree in quantitative or management fields from a well-recognized institute. ● Senior or executive management experience in the pharma industry. ● Knowledge gained by leading a senior commercial, business, and medical position with broad leadership experience and the ability to lead a cross-functional team. ● Strong people management experience (ideally managed large and diverse teams). ● Experience in building relationships/networks with health care decision-makers (governments, payers, insurers, policymakers KOLs, etc.). ● Advance level of English, written and spoken.
