Job Description

● To maintain a close working relationship with NWG, vendors, and internal and external service providers also stakeholders to manage dependencies and resolve project bottlenecks. ● To interact with external organizations for activities related to assigned projects. ● To implement guidelines of MTN Capital Project Management Toolkit and MTN Budget Management Toolkit. ● To engage with NWG and other internal stakeholders to ensure understanding of project requirements, with respect to budget, scope, timescale, and quality. ● To proactively support NWG and procurement during negotiations with vendors and suppliers of services and materials. ● To develop and ensure implementation of a project communication plan, agenda, and schedule of meetings with selected vendors or service providers. ● To manage and ensure implementation of the assigned projects with particular responsibility for the budget, scope, and timescale, as contractually shown in the Project Implementation Plan (PIP) and according to established project management principles. ● To develop a reporting structure for project management meetings in order to manage scope, timescale, progress, actions, quality, risks and challenges and ensure the meetings are documented and distributed to relevant stakeholders. ● To organize and chair regular project progress meetings with vendor and service providers. ● To identify, manage and escalate risks to project scope, timescale and budget. ● To prepare regular project report to Senior Manager, PMO and other stakeholders as and when required. ● To provide support to CPG Project Support Office (PSO) with respect to required reports and information updates. ● To manage changes to project scope and implementation plan and communicate them effectively to all stakeholders. ● To manage project quality and project acceptance issues to ensure delivery of the project based on agreed criteria and requirements. ● To develop lessons learned and maintain the knowledge gathered during the course of project accomplishment in the PMO project repository. ● To manage and lead a project team, which may include other professionals or consultants with expert skills and knowledge relevant to the project. ● To coach, train and manage knowledge sharing with project coordinators (even if not permanently assigned to the PM). ● To arrange weekly and daily governance meetings for related subcontractors and provide monthly MOM. ● To follow agreed timelines to ensure of on-time delivery and keep databases updated. ● To manage and ensure that the power of sites will be permanent in the shortest time and will work with full configuration.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related fields. ● At least 5 years of experience in the area of specialization; with experience in supervising/managing others. ● Experience working in a medium to large organization. ● 3 years of experience in mobile telecommunication environment particularly projects, technical or quality assurance.
