Production Planning Manager

Job Description

● Plan for production targets. ● Negotiation with contract manufacturers for the best planning of production at the best time. ● Material planning by consideration of production plan. ● Recognize and resolve warehouse and quality issues through corrective action plans. ● Supervise all activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials. ● Supervise production steps and troubleshooting in contractor sites. ● Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements. ● Work closely with marketing, purchasing, operations, and finance teams to plan and monitor inventory levels and production lead times. ● Collaborate with the sales team in analyzing the sales forecast, by completing the assets, raw materials, manpower requirements, customer demands, and following up on the actual production results. ● Work closely with related department managers with the design or new product introduction, alternative raw materials, equipment requirements, test /inspection plans, and product specification requirements. ● Plan, create, control, and monitor production schedules and job order priorities to meet production targets. ● Schedule and direct production planning meetings and track production performance to schedule. ● Estimate costs, setting the quality standards, and ensure that the production is cost-effective.
