Production Engineer

Job Description

● Shift control includes production line problems, quality, logistics, and personnel issues, and coordination of the production chief to solve problems. ● Control of production plan received from planning unit and coordination with senior operators to increase production and reduce production waste and also unplanned stops. ● Control systemic and physical compliance of raw material consumption about production approvals in production reports. ● Visual control of raw materials and non-compliant products (items reported by senior production operators on the production line) in accordance with panel production method reporting cases of discrepancies to the production chief and relevant units to solve the problem. ● Control performance of machinery and equipment of the production line, cutting, palletizing, and waste, and reporting cases of discrepancies to production chief. ● Preparation daily, weekly and monthly reports of the production unit and ERP system to control and monitor production situation and also send it to production chief. ● Production status control (production rate, product waste and stops) at the end of the shift, preparation of shift reports and sending it to the production chief. ● Review reports received from the quality department and share comments with the production chief, to improve the quality of the product. ● Plan and prepare conditions for performing quality tests of raw materials and improvement tests, according to production chief approval. ● Control function of production personnel, including leave, overtime, missions, and so on to prevent any discrepancies and send report to production chief. ● Prepare and update production process documents such as instruction, forms, procedures and etc., and also get approval from the production chief. ● Review of personnel suggestions to create optimal working environment conditions to increase the level of safety and ergonomics of the workplace. ● Prepare and updating of electronic personnel files and registration of disciplinary cases and share reports with production chief. ● Design Excel files to facilitate the entry and archiving of production information.
