● Get directions, objectives, and policies from the direct procurement lead.
● Effective interaction and cooperation with other departments.
● Obtain necessary quotations from contractors or suppliers in accordance with the project/ C&P procedures and transaction committee manual.
● Initiate tenders and prepare techno commercial analysis report.
● Source capable resources in accordance with the project's defined scope of work and commercial or technical requirements.
● Initiate and participate in contractors, OEMs, and suppliers’ audits.
● Identify savings opportunities and take actions to achieve those.
● Follow up on all purchase orders/purchase contracts and make sure all technical, financial and QC required steps are conducted.
● Expedite and ensure timely delivery of all products and services.
● Prepare and submit procurement reports as and when required.
● Manage suppliers and make sure the best in price and quality are delivered to end users.
● Perform other assigned tasks by the procurement lead in the limitation of the related responsibilities.
● Show accountability about all the matters relating to quality, health, safety and environment management system.
● Report the risks and opportunities and follow them up.
● Immediate reporting of all the incidents and hazardous situations.
Requirements
● At least 3 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry (procurement department).
● At least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields.
● Familiar with international purchasing, supply chain fundamentals, and logistics.
● Communication and negotiation skills.
● Fluent in English.
