Job Description

  • Develop, lead, and implement purchasing strategies.
  • Try to realize the policy and goals set by the executive management.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding the timely supply of requested goods.
  • Cooperate in the identification and initial evaluation and selection of suppliers.
  • Check supplier performance monitoring reports and inform the supplier of the results.
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in the balance of buyer and supplier power.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and develop needs and requirements, equipment, materials, and products.
  • Monitor and forecast warehouse inventory and future demand levels.
  • Monitor the payment process and suppliers' invoices.
  • Communicate with the planning manager regarding the timely supply of raw materials.
  • Prepare raw material supply reports and analysis of the reasons for deviation from the order requirement date and determine the amount and time of delivery of materials and products.
  • Track and report key performance metrics to reduce costs and improve effectiveness.
  • Resolve complaints from vendors, contractors, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering fields, Management, or Animal Science.
  • Previous work experience in the livestock and poultry industry or similar industries is an advantage.
  • Experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar position.
  • Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Hands-on experience in budgeting and purchasing management.
  • Superb communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills.
  • Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
