A leading private company active in the energy industry, including Oil and Gas and energy production, which has grown significantly in recent years, is inviting a Process Engineering Expert. Role description: ● Cooperate in hiring management and technical staff for operation, maintenance, and repair projects, including technical resume screening, technical interview, design of technical test questions, etc. ● Collect and study technical standards in the field of control and precision instruments and use them in developing procedures and technical instructions for operation, maintenance and repair processes. ● Cooperate and participate in improving and updating the procedures and technical instructions of operation, maintenance and repair processes in the field of control engineering and instrumentation. ● Train operational staff, sharing the latest version of technical documents and ensuring the correct use of documents. ● Cooperate in planning, maintenance, and preventive repairs in the field of control engineering and instrumentation and providing technical supervision and quality control of processes. ● Periodic technical evaluation of operation and maintenance activities, site staff, and reporting to the project manager. ● Cooperate in determining and clarifying the technical specifications of equipment (spare parts, special and general tools, etc.) and services required for operation, maintenance, repair, and datasheet projects. ● Assist in the technical evaluation of suppliers and contractors. ● Preparate technical documents of tenders and evaluation and technical scoring of bidders' bids. ● Provide inspection, quality control, and testing services in the field of control engineering and instrumentation during equipment delivery. ● Assist managers and staff of operation, maintenance, and repair projects in solving technical problems in the field of control engineering and instrumentation. ● Provide technical and engineering services in pre-commissioning and commissioning processes, preparing a list of defects and punches in the field of control engineering and instrumentation. ● Supervise and control the punching process performed by contractors and provide technical assistance in the field of control engineering and instrumentation. ● Audit reports received from operational sites in the field of control engineering and instrumentation, provide corrective comments and follow up on improvements.
Requirements
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputable university. ● At least four years of work experience in the field of control and instrumentation in consulting companies or engineering units of power plants, refineries, etc. (required). ● At least ten years of experience in the field of control and instrumentation in consulting companies or engineering units of power plants, refineries, etc. (desirable). ● Age range: 28 to 45 years old. ● Good familiarity with the working mechanism of various equipment used in power plants and refineries, including compressors, generators, small and large mechanical generators, types of water and oil pumps, air compressors, automatic or manual valves, and heat exchangers and turbines. ● Fluent in industrial control systems, instrumentation, construction and executive documents, and manufacturing and testing standards in the field of control and instrumentation. ● Fluent in specialized software in the field of control and instrumentation. ● Effective communication skills. ● Responsibility and accountability. ● Consequentialism. ● Ability to do teamwork. ● Ability to solve problems and make decisions. ● Having systemic thinking. ● Eager to learn and grow individually. ● Fluent in English. ● Fluent in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
