Mobile Application Engineer

Job Description

● To ensure the effective utilization of Mobile applications infrastructure, scalability, and capabilities by proper collaboration with the infrastructure department. ● To support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support). ● To ensure compliance of all related systems/applications with all laws, regulatory, commercial, and business requirements (e.g., copyright, data protection, Security, and integrity of external systems). ● To manage vendors’/third parties’ performances and activities in terms of technical quality. ● To collaborate with business stakeholders to plan and develop required mobile applications. ● To ensure proper backup policies are in place, in case of any issues such as application crashes, legal issues, etc. ● To ensure proper performance monitoring and management of the apps/services are in place. ● To investigate and apply root cause analysis (RCA) for various possible issues on mobile apps. ● To ensure proper SLAs are composed and in place for assigned services, Vendors, and Content Providers. ● To provide reports and analysis regarding various elements and related KPIs, at the manager’s request. ● To contribute to the development of the mobile applications strategy in the context of products and services needs and capabilities of underlying infrastructural platform, deployment, and maintenance of apps/services. ● To integrate different outsourcing partners and play the role of a mediator to resolve conflicts among them and facilitate cross-functional teams that include members from MTNIrancell and outsourcing partners. ● To support in maximum efficiency of the team’s ability to provide support and service to the business. ● To collaborate with suppliers and content providers to ensure MTNIrancell products are superior in performance, functionality, and customer experience. ● To liaise with the Marketing in defining and developing the product and content acquisition roadmap.
