Job Description

● Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage materials planning in line with the regional and area guidelines and initiatives to ensure agility and responsiveness for local scenarios for effective utilization of resources. ● Design and establish an effective and efficient materials planning process. ● Drive stock holding policy description development and compliance for Wrapping materials, filters, and CRT. ● Provide x-functional support to all stakeholders to deliver on time in full and at the optimal cost. ● Ensure rolling supply plans for material, CRT, and filter rods are prepared according to the planned production and target durations. ● Define appropriate stock targets for all materials, drive materials inventories and optimize working capital. ● Establish robust MRP planning and ensure all orders for material and CRT are planned accordingly. ● Ensure effective and robust materials requirements planning, ● Purchase orders raise against MRP requirements, and POs are released before placing to the supplier. ● Ensure purchasing orders' timely acknowledgment by suppliers, confirmations receipt and advanced shipping notification receipt as per agreed contract terms. ● Manage foreseen materials constraints to support production plans. ● Root cause analysis for all cases where shortages were identified in current months. ● Drive suppliers to meet current and future materials supplier requirements. ● Drive Inventories optimization to ensure materials availability for production. ● Foresee obsoletes prevention and actively manage obsoletes stocks until full usage in the production or write-off. ● Maintain a tool for scenario planning to support regular production and NPI roll out. ● Deliver materials planning savings with SHP and inventories optimization and introduce family print runs and EOQ. ● Ensure the supply plan for WMS is constantly updated for the accuracy of production and logistics planning. ● Implement, monitor, and review the system of KPI measurements to ensure continuous improvements and control of the materials planning process. ● Ensure material planning team performance at the agreed level is delivered through the supply chain. ● Collaborate on KPIs and actual performance with SC functions and customers.

Requirements

● Comprehensive working knowledge of operations, supply chain, commercial principles, and practices gained within an operating company with at least 2 to 3 years of practical experience. ● Appreciation of the commercial aspects resulting in the role being results orientated. ● Product knowledge at operational levels. ● High level of leadership attributes. ● Strong communication and influencing skills. ● Ability to work both individually and as part of a management team at all levels. ● Coaching/mentoring and training skills.
