Job Description

The Local Purchasing Specialist at Zarrin includes sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet specific technical specifications, negotiating purchase terms, and evaluating supplier performance. The core tasks and responsibilities can be listed below: ● Responsible for ordering and monitoring the supply of local technical purchasing such as electrical, mechanical, and projects. ● Responsible for documentation and following the guidelines of compliance purchasing. ● In charge of material price index, cash flow management (Payment term), and innovative saving projects. ● Run tenders/auctions for sourcing activities and full documentation in the context. ● Supplier relationship management. ● In charge of supply base efficiency and alternative sourcing and capacity management. ● Establish a supplier database and their periodic evaluation. ● Examine feedstock price trends and domestic rates. ● Check the status of inventory control and supply optimization. ● Provide financial analysis reports to determine the best reasonable purchase price.

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. ● Familiar with the internal purchase process and contracts. ● At least three years of related experience. ● Well experienced in purchasing, importation regulations, and policies. ● High communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. ● Being passionate, communicative, a team player, and influencing. ● Fluent in general office procedures, such as official communications, and reporting.
