ITS Digital Platforms Manager

Job Description

● To liaise with Marketing as well as other business units in defining their product roadmap and definition of their products. ● To deliver the services and deploy the resources as per MTNIrancell’s business needs through influencing the outsourcing partner. ● To collaborate with suppliers and ensure that the operations, performance, and functionality of assigned ITS Platforms/services meet the requirements of the organization and the agreed SLAs. ● To ensure vendor interaction and selection are managed appropriately including oversight and approval of equipment configurations in cost control and full lifecycle costing. ● To integrate different outsourcing partners and play the role of a mediator to resolve conflicts among them and facilitate cross-functional teams that include members from MTNIrancell and outsourcing partners. ● To ensure planned assigned ITS Platforms infrastructure changes, as well as products and services, are delivered on time to meet operational requirements and also manage their development continues to ensure their designs are developed based on development plans, business requirements, and budgetary prioritization. ● To ensure the effective utilization of assigned ITS Platforms’ infrastructure, scalability, and capabilities and manage their P&S technical life cycle. ● To ensure assigned ITS Platforms meet business requirements and are sufficient for growth in customer numbers and demand, in line with the agreed budget. ● To oversee and approve the detailed product and service design ensuring that the impact on existing systems (including network capacity), products, services, and processes are managed. ● To ensure proper SLAs are composed and in place for assigned ITS Platforms and services. ● To ensure system documentation is sufficiently detailed and up to date to ensure business continuity and prevent over-reliance on a few individuals. ● To ensure the performance of deliverables is monitored and investigated for performance and functionality issues, and future designs optimized around root causes identified. ● To contribute to forecasting, planning, and developing assigned ITS Platforms budgets in line with MTNIrancell’s financial requirements. ● To identify key changes to assigned ITS Platforms in the future from technological, commercial, business, and consumer behavior perspectives and determine how these could impact assigned ITS Platforms’ plans and strategies. ● To ensure proper integration of assigned ITS Platforms plans and other systems/applications. ● To assist in the development of the assigned ITS Platforms and Services/applications strategy in the context of product and services needs and capabilities of the underlying infrastructural platform. ● To ensure compliance of all assigned platforms/systems/applications with regulatory, financial, commercial, and business requirements including but not limited to the Security and integrity of banking systems/external systems. ● To assist in maximum efficiency of the ITS Platforms department's ability to provide support and service to the business by promoting best practices and the culture of collaboration and providing subject matter expertise to other business and technical units. ● To build the understanding of existing and emerging assigned ITS Platforms technologies and capabilities across the business to develop the product roadmap, unleashing unused capabilities and monetizing unused opportunities. ● To represent MTNIrancell at various industry forums and deliver presentations on assigned ITS Platforms to foster the company’s brand image in the market, initiating a constructive discourse towards the industry players and pioneers.
