Core Requirements for the IT Leadership Role:
Leadership: Responsible for leading and providing daily guidance to the IT team, including Network Administrators and Technical Support staff.
Infrastructure Management: Supervise and ensure the efficient operation of the company's IT infrastructure, staying updated on emerging technologies.
Policy and Procedure Management: Develop, review, and manage all IT policies and procedures, including best practices and process guidelines.
Network Management: Monitor, troubleshoot, reconfigure, and develop security protocols for the company's IT assets.
Security Compliance: Assess and develop security protocols and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
External Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners, such as vendors and consultants, to implement IT strategies and systems.
Staff Onboarding and Offboarding: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for IT staff to ensure proper equipment and security measures.
Device Procurement: Manage IT device procurement, including selection, purchase, and configuration.
Backup Monitoring: Monitor backup services and ensure data replication functions correctly to prevent data loss.
External Technical Support: Allocate and oversee external technical support queries to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
Competencies Required:
Being a full-stack developer in past work experiences is a mandatory requirement.
Education: A tertiary qualification in information technology or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar IT team leadership role, demonstrating effective management of IT teams and infrastructure.
Network and System Management: Proficiency in managing networks and systems to ensure their proper functioning.
Technical Skills: Exposure to Microsoft technologies and security administration tools, with strong technical problem-solving skills.
Communication: Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
ERP Experience: Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, which can be relevant to the company's operations.
