Oversee all technology operations (infrastructure and business application) and evaluate them according to established goals.
Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
Sense checks any new functional strategies or plans, effectively acting as a sounding board and sparring partner for the functional decision makers, ensuring alignment with IT strategy.
Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Maintain, develop, and optimize IT infrastructure (company networks and servers) to ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms) and software licenses and monitor SLA (Service Level Agreement) for business applications.
Coordinate and supervise IT experts, technicians, and other professionals to provide guidance.
Act as project manager for IT projects.
Act as SLM (Service Level Manager) and in this role will agree on SLAs with the relevant functional business leads and ensure the relevant statistical information and services are in place and commutated from their IT colleagues.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
At least 5 years of experience in an IT environment with experience in supervising, managing, and others.
Ownership and commitment as well as being an initiator in projects is a must.
Logistics and transportation industry experience (process and technical knowledge).
Good at deployment methods in big data and databases.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
