POSITION SNAPSHOT

Location: Tehran - Islamic Republic of Iran;
Company: Nestlé Iran - Tehran Office; Full-Time;

POSITION SUMMARY:

Internal Communication:

  • To support management to inform, engage, and motivate employees in pursuit of a shared strategic vision and goals.

Media Relations:

  • To build a climate of trust with editors and journalists and through this deliver greater Media exposure for Nestlé as NHW/CSV leader.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

Internal Communication:

  • Define information needs, and develop and implement an internal communications plan as part of the NME Corporate Communication Blueprint.
  • Manage internal communication projects and create quality instruments, Internal NEWSFLASH, the NEST, Iran Leadership Conference, videos, Office Activations, Events, etc.
  • Provide support for the Country Manager / HR in the organization and run internal meetings such as Leadership Conference, CEO videos, Chatter, the NEST, and Other internal Communication channels.
  • Provide advice and guidance to those communicating internally.

Media Relations:

  • Define and implement the annual media agenda and contact plan in line with the key topics and media identified in the Corporate Communication BluePrint.
  • Organize media interviews, events, and press releases.
  • Act as spokesperson and support other spokespeople through preparation and documentation.
  • Support and advise internal stakeholders in their media activities.
  • Prepare position statements.
  • Maintain the corporate press dossier and internet media center.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate ‘issues’ through engagement with relevant stakeholders.
  • Initiate contact and manage HR engagement plans from the communications front with targeted universities in Tehran and the rest of Iran.
  • Initiate contact and support projects related to CSV with targeted universities for NI and NW.

What Will Make You Successful?

Internal Communication:

  • 5+ years of communications experience.
  • Experience working with senior leadership on communications.
  • Experience working in different business functions.
  • Communications agency/journalism experience.

Media Relations:

  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate media center.
  • Experience in journalism or an external communication agency.
  • Strong track record in the media environment.
  • Strong language skills in English.
  • Project management skills.
  • Journalism background.
