Generic Responsibilities:
- Implement the ICLA project portfolio according to strategy and plan of action.
- Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks, guidelines, and donor requirements.
- Engage and coordinate activities with partners and stakeholders as required.
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by the management.
- Identify protection needs and gaps.
- Ensure proper filing of documents.
- Organize mapping of operational agencies in the areas of interventions and coordination.
- Ensure that projects target the most vulnerable rights holders.
- Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
- Participate in NRC's staff seminars and training when required.
- Promote the rights of refugees and displaced in line with the advocacy strategy.
- Identify and report protection needs and gaps, and explore and propose new and safer ways to assist.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Identify the most vulnerable households through regular field visits.
- Provision of counseling and legal assistance services to the target group.
- Provision of information services to the target group.
- Regular follow-up on the status of registered cases.
- Conduct regular needs assessments and monitor of the status of the project implementation.
- Participate in drafting legal documents related to ICLA thematic areas.
- Conduct field missions to the relevant provinces.
- Coordinate with different partners.
- Create an effective channel of communication with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Provide support in the identification of new activities related to the related provinces and monitor the ongoing activities.
