Job Description

● Providing support and guidance with the company’s rules, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety legislation. ● Organizing pro-active safety and environmental programs, systems, policies, and training to ensure all employees operate within HSE requirements. ● Over-seeing the investigation process of all incidents and accidents to ensure that they are accurately recorded and reported internally and externally. ● Applying change management principles to avoid accidents due to lack of planning and proper communication. ● Analyzing risks and safety-related incidents in collaboration with departments to implement necessary modifications in instructions and operating procedures. ● Applying best practices in safety projects by performing audits and utilizing internal and external benchmarks. ● Planning, organizing, controlling, managing, and making decisions in relation to the project's HSE processes and activities in accordance with legal, contracts, and other requirements. ● Managing, controlling, and ensuring compatibility of the organization's/project's HSE policies and objectives in the project. ● Cooperating in preparing/reviewing/approving project’s HSE procedures, work instructions, and other needed documents, based on latest legal and other requirements. ● Implementing HSE procedures in organization and project based on legal requirements. ● Performing periodical monitoring, inspections, and audit in all organization centers, warning/stopping project activities in case of any critical hazard. ● Monitoring hazard identification and risk assessment. ● Monitoring and preparing HSE plans, actions, and reports. ● Handling client's/stakeholder's HSE requirements and satisfaction in projects. ● Assessing training needs and measuring the effectiveness of HSE training. ● Reporting to: HRO Senior Manager. ● Monitoring job-related incidents, TAR rate, and incident FR and controlling them based on ASP.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or Environmental Engineering. ● Minimum 5 years of industrial and management experience. ● Full operational knowledge of HSE management systems. ● Knowledge of HSE auditing techniques. ● High communication skills. ● Good in stakeholder management. ● High level of knowledge of risk management techniques.
