Job Description

● Compiling and keeping up-to-date documentation of the power plant's integrated management system in the HSE department. ● Continuous presence in operational departments and monitoring compliance with HSE requirements by employees based on control checklists. ● Follow up and carry out corrective and preventive measures and improvement measures defined in the HSE section. ● Responding to third-party audit teams and external assessors within the HSE department. ● Analyzing unexpected events and finding the root factors affecting their occurrence. ● Identifying and evaluating the risks and diseases caused by work and proposing and implementing the necessary measures to reduce them. ● Planning and implementing drills and maneuvers in order to maintain the readiness of the power plant employees in facing critical and emergency situations.

Requirements

● Proficient in safety, health and environmental management standards and systems. ● Bachelor’s degree in related fields. ● At least 3 years of experience in health and safety. ● In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g., OSHA/EPA) and procedures. ● HSE qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. ● Proficient in MS Office. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically. ● Fluency in written, spoken English, and Arabic are essential.
