● Prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
● Give advice on investment activities.
● Ensure financial legal requirements are met.
● Analyze prices, expenses, sales data, and other variables to compare the company's performance with the business plan.
● Provide financial models for the companies.
● Find ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business processes.
● Monitor the performance of the financial department and provide targets and plan to meet them.
● Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
● Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances
● Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
● Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
● Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken
● Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
● Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
Requirements
● Proven experience as a financial manager.
● Deep understanding of the financial model of the company also the other models in the market.
● Familiar with the software and tools in finance and their optimal use.
● Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
● Certificates such as CFA, CPA, or any other relevant certificates will be considered a plus.
